About Josh Shandell

An undergraduate at the University of Michigan, Josh Shandell attends the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Josh Shandell is one of only 20 Paton Accounting Fellows at the school.

Outside of class, Mr. Shandell is heavily involved in on-campus activities. He serves as the president of the Undergraduate Michigan Real Estate Club. Additionally, he founded Cooking for a Cause, a student-run nonprofit service that prepares meals for a local homeless shelter.

In 2011 and 2012, Josh Shandell gained experience at GTIS Partners, LP, as a summer analyst. In this position, he worked with the asset management and acquisitions teams to evaluate new strategies at assets within the existing portfolio and potential acquisitions, respectively. In the summer of 2013, Mr. Shandell worked as a real estate private equity summer analyst at Apollo Global Management, where he further developed his analytical skills working on financial models and contributing to investment committee memos.
